As of 1/16/25 eight of 32 6A schools will have new head coaches next season. Being competitive in any class is a tough job. 

We're approaching the date of my annual February 14th mid-term report on open jobs. Over the last decade I've given an update on how may jobs have come open by that date compared to how many that have been filled, and then I've also filled in how many total jobs turned over during the off-season once football gets started back up in August. In the past decade the average for open jobs on Feb 14th has been 30 and the averge for number of jobs filled by that date has been 18.8 so right now that puts us a little higher than usual with open jobs and a little lower than usual with filled jobs. We'll see how that all has shaken out in two weeks when I make the numbers official.
