From the Jackson County Sun on July 17:

"Coach Mouser was hired in March 2025 and unexpectedly left without overseeing a single practice or coaching a single game.

The day after his official hiring, Coach Callebs made himself available at the JCHS Library to meet players and parents and introduce himself.

Coach Callebs brings an incredible resume to the table as the new Generals Head Coach! Coach Callebs has over 30 years of coaching experience.

He has coached at some of the premier programs in the state. Coach Callebs coached for 12 years at Bell County, 5 years at Lynn Camp, and 5 years at Pineville. He has served as Head Coach for Cawood High School. He has coached teams that have won two (2) KHSAA State Championships, along with teams that have won eight (8) Regional Championships (7 with Bell County & 1 with Lynn Camp)."
