North Bullitt names Derek Cruise head football coach.

Featured Replies

Cruise is a 2002 North Bullitt grad and was a three-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball and track. He played wide receiver and defensive end for the Eagles football team. He began his teaching and coaching career at North Bullitt before moving on to Spencer County where he has spent time as an assistant coach on both the football and basketball teams. He also has served as the Bears' golf coach, a position that earned him the KY Golf Coaches Association's 5th Region Boys Golf COY award in 2023.

From North Bullitt:

We would like to introduce our new Head Football Coach, NB alumni Derek Cruise.
Coach Cruise is a 2002 graduate, he played for the Eagles and was an assistant coach early in his career. He brings a vast amount of experience from Spencer County.  We are excited to welcome him back to the nest!! #eaglepride

This has every appearance of being an absolutely ideal hire for North Bullitt.

Congratulations and good luck to Coach Cruise and the Eagles!

No doubt. I'm pretty sure he has been with Coach Marksberry from the jump at Spencer County, then throw in the fact that he's a Brooks Roadian ? Nailed it here.

Congratulations and good luck to Coach Cruise.
