Brian Philip Hubbard has been named head coach at Leslie County. Hubbard graduated from Leslie County in the mid-2000s and was a wide receiver on the Eagles football team. I believe he's also related to the Leslie County varsity baseball coach, Eric Hubbard.

Brian Hubbard is shown below (on the left) with previous Leslie County head coach Eddie Melton after being introduced as the new head football coach. Melton stepped down a week ago after 15 years as the Eagles head football coach, and several more years on the assistant coaching staff.

Congratulations and good luck to Coach Hubbard and the Eagles!

Took eight days from announcing that Coach Melton was stepping down to announcing his replacement. It sounds like he and Leslie County had his succession plan well in the works already. Great way to see things handled, and it should hopefully bode well for the Eagles moving forward.
