According to the KHSAA site, the Berea High School head football coaching position is open.

Does Thomas put his name back in the hat? Stepp? Anyone else that may look for an opportunity to be a head coach?

I think an obvious concern would be whether you'd get a teaching position with this job because of the big cuts Berea has had to make.

Tate Morris possibly? QBs coach at Southwestern, has coached OL in the past for them. Young guy looking to cut his teeth.

Imagine recent issues with the school system will make the application pool very limited.

Agreed. If the "will there even be a football program at Berea" question was left floating out there for over a month from the point where Coach Thomas' teaching position was cut from the budget (March 17) until the new listing for the football coaching job (April 23), then I certainly wouldn't feel any warm and fuzzies about the potential longevity of a football coaching job at Berea if I was looking to apply.
