Science Friction
This is a slam dunk for me. One of my favorite shows of all-time and a hit for The Ventures. Few TV show theme songs have been Billboard hits. The Five-O theme hit #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in 1969. Enjoy...
Jim Schue
Loved "Welcome Back (Kotter)" by John Sebastian. And as cheesy as it is, I still love the theme from "Greatest American Hero."

Irish Cat
The Dukes of Hazzard. I was hooked from the first time I saw that orange car jump a river as a six year old. And while this might not have mattered much to me at that age, as an adult I'll ask you, did Waylon sing the theme song to your favorite tv show? I didn't think so. ggclfan
Mash and the Big Bang Theory were the first two that come to mind... I agree with Schue on Greatest American Hero - cheesy but I liked it...
MJAlltheWay24
Absolutely love Cheers. No words to it, but I really enjoy the weird peacefulness of LOST.

kygirl
I loved "Northern Exposure" by David Schwartz. The bongos not something you would associate with cold just as quirky as the show but it always made me smile when I heard it.
CincySportsFan
Absolutely impossible for me to choose. Have too many that I like to have just one favorite. Growing up in the 70's and 80's, was heavily exposed to the works by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter. Here's as close as I can to narrow it down. Black Sheep Squadron Magnum PI Simon & Simon Hill Street Blues St. Elsewhere CHiPs Hawaii Five-O Jag (my cell phone ring tone, right now) My favorite "modern" theme song, is probably the full version from Psych.
