Being reported a 5 year deal to be done Monday.

Do ANY of the players stay now? My guess is maybe a couple stay.

Cal taking recruits with him?

I expect all but Travis Perry to reopen their recruitment.

They all should. Players come to Kentucky for the name on the front. Or so I’ve heard.

That's not the world we live in now.

Ask and you shall receive.  I'm not happy about it at all, but give the people what they want. Mitch Barnhardt resume is being updated on LINKEDIN as we speak. 

I told my buddy, Cal going to Arkansas is kind of like going back to Memphis.  He can be successful there, but regardless of how good he is or isn't it will likely be enough to keep fans happy. Not a lot less pressure but he can always recruit on his ability to get guys to the NBA.  This all raises a lot of questions about UK and it's NIL situation.  A lot of stuff floating around that makes you think NIL for players isn't at the forefront of things. Or Calipari is looking for a clean slate after screwing it up so badly when it started. I could see it either way. 

It was time. Cal had a good run. It's clear he wasn't willing to adjust to the NIL, transfer at will, and building experience on a roster.  I'm happy for the time he gave us, but the collegiate game has changed. It's time to focus on someone who can bring that change to Lexington.

I think he'll be north of 10 million with about 4 to 5 million for recruiting.

That was my initial thought,  I actually changed my numbers.
