I am 100% at a loss as to how “slimy” could be used to describe any of these people, including Cal.

I think Cal lost some of his drive the last few seasons and did not seem to have as much energy and will to win as earlier in his career at UK.   Having said that, I look for him to be rejuvenated for his first few seaons at Arkansas and do quite well.   After that, who knows?

Just saw Kenny Payne and Cal are getting the band together.  Kenny will do a great job with the bigs once again.  Great move.

I don't subscribe to the whole UK working to sabotage UofL narrative, but KP was 100% a plant and you can't convince me otherwise.

The U of L job was in such a great place when Payne took it...they could have had their pick of top coaches.  Good thing Payne and Cal pulled that off!

I am totally mystified about this post.  My memory says KP was a great position coach and did a great job at UK and the BBN was saddened when he left for the NBA to again specialize with the bigs.  Although, I have done zero research, I was not aware of any demonstrated experience in game planning, ingame strategies, or team structuring.  But as a Louisville alumnus with an extensive (but perhaps narrow) pedigree, one could see KP as a legitimate hire.  The programs regression certainly dictated it was time for another UL change.  Conspiracy/plant….hilarious.

Orlando Antigua has now decided to not go with Cal to Arkansas and has taken an assistant’s job at Illinois.

With Bruiser, Chin, Chuck Martin, Brad and now Kenny...there was no room for Antigua at Arkansas. Maybe if he wanted to go Arkansas, Cal wouldn't have taken Chin or Chuck.

Orlando is now back at Illinois where he was before he came back to UK this last time. I think it was a smart decision for him as Underwood at Illinois may be positioning himself for a bigger job here soon.
