Word got out that Perry was the choice and if you see on that statement they thanked the parents for reaching out. It was very public they weren’t happy with the choice.

If you haven’t followed the situation today, you missed a lot. Apparently they were prepared to hire another coach and a parent revolt made them reconsider. Coach Crowe was the Powell Middle coach.

Sounds like Brent Perry will be the new coach. He was an assistant at Montgomery County this year.

Not sure but just what I was told. Robinson had success and got the most out of the talent in Frenchburg. I’m sure some school will be happy to swoop him up.

My understanding is his teaching position was pink slipped.

My guess the first offer will be current boys assistant Jordan Perry.

Well the “undefeated regular seasons” points toward Mt. Sterling I’m assuming.

Have to think if the interim was getting the job, it wouldn’t have taken this long.

Coach High stepped down yesterday.

His BYU team shot more 3’s than 2’s last season. Hopefully if he can recruit at a Kentucky level, his offense will thrive.

I've heard Derek Robinson from Bourbon County may be the leader with a decision this week or early next week.

Scott Drew would be another notch in the rivalry as well. The coach who turned down Louisville, goes to Kentucky.

Hurley said no last night after the game. It will be Drew probably today or tomorrow.
