End of 1st quarter...PT 14 MAYFIELD 7. Pt drove down the field quite easily on first 2 drives. Mayfield finallyl put some plays together on their last drive.

Good observations above...heat and two-way players will be a big factor. So then, does it come down to which team has better substitute or second team players?

As a newbie to the Western Kentucky area, I am excited to go to my first Kentucky Rivalry game. I do not have enough history or understanding of the rivalry or recent games, but I come from Long Island and played high school football there. Plenty of longtime rivalries as well. I recently relocated to Paducah. I played football and ice hockey growing up on Long Island. Since coming to Kentucky, I have been amazed at the high level of sports, especially how much the communities back their teams. I would like to know what are the oldest high school football rivalries in the state? What are the most intense? What team is feared the most? Who has the most state championships?
