What is your favorite kind of soup?

Not a big soup fan, but I would say Potato.

Soup Du Jour.

Homemade: Potato and Vegtable.

Canned: Bean & Bacon and Tomato.

Restaurant: Potato from Cheddars.

What is the definition of soup lol? Can we include chowders, bisques, etc?

Potato. And my wife makes a pretty good Italian vegetable soup.

Until last fall I would have said, without reservation, she-crab soup. My favorite since childhood.

But last fall I finally found something better. It took 64 years and several thousand miles. Seafood chowder, McGann’s pub in a village called Doolin on the west coast of Ireland.

I am very basic and like soup right out of the can. I haven't eaten soup in years but my favorites are chicken noodle, tomato, or maybe beef vegetable.

Not gonna lie, sometimes I return to my childhood and have Campbell’s chicken noodle soup with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and milk.

Split Pea with Ham and Bacon.

A good seafood gumbo is hard to beat, in my opinion.

On the more traditional front, there's a potato soup recipe that's in the BGP cookbook that we make multiple times during the winter, and it always hits the spot.
