Proposed 6th/7th Region reshuffle

Proposed new Districts for Louisville regions 6 and 7.

Where did the KHSAA publish their draft changes? I did not see it in their board meeting agenda or any documents with these changes.

I would think Male would adore this plan to move to the 6th Region. Much easier path to STATE in baseball, basketball and soccer. No impact on football.

This is interesting. I've been hearing from the beginning of the state-wide realignment that the Bullitt county schools would be leaving and coming to the 5th region. The 5th would lose Green, Adair, Hart & Caverna and also add Meade County. Which of course causes more domino effects.

I’ve heard the same about Bullitt schools.

This was done with the current schools as they are at the moment.

Where would those 5th region teams be placed?

They would move west.

It makes sense for Adair, Green, Hart and Caverna to go to the 4th because they are on Central time and the rest of the 5th region on Eastern time.  Same with Meade.  They are the only 3rd region team on Eastern time.
