CincySportsFan
Garlic butter. BTW - Each time one of these questions is posed, I'm afraid to see what Randy Parker puts as his answer...because, I've been agreeing with him on too many of these! :lol2:
Jumper_Dad
To be honest, great bread sticks don't need dipping sauce.
coldweatherfan
Garlic butter or olive oil with Italian herbs. This. I like them both equally. Don't care for marinara with bread sticks.

CincySportsFan
To be honest, great bread sticks don't need dipping sauce. I've only had great breadsticks at one location. There used to be (maybe still is) a little hole-in-the-wall pizza joint in Vevay, Indiana...called Roxano's. Soft, pillowy strips of dough lightly sprinkled with Parmessan cheese that were to die for. And as great as they were (are?)...if you dipped them in garlic butter...holy moly, your tongue would slap your brain silly they were so much better. I'm not ashamed to admit it, but there were several times that for lunch, all I'd have was an order of breadsticks and a glass of sweet tea. :lol2:
