My first question. Will the Stripes trade up to get Bowers (TE - Georgia)?

I would love that, but that is the most un-Cincinnati like thing imaginable. I think they will stay put and take the best available player that is a WR, OT, or DT. I am hoping for Latham out of Alabama.

No. Will sit tight. If Bowers drops to them at 18, which several earlier mock drafts predicted, I still am not sure they would draft him. I think they will go OT or DT. Too many WR's available to spend pick 18 on a WR. They will get a WR on day 2.

What does that mean for Mayer?

I would think they will both be starters but I am not a Raiders expert.

Bowers is awesome but I believe Mayer is the complete package right now.

The Bengals with the #18 pick in the 2024 NFL draft select Amarius Mims from the University of Georgia. I like the pick!

Added protection for Joe Burrow, I love it!

Who Dey!

Good pick. Keep JB upright at all costs.   The guy may have gone a pick or two higher had he not had an ankle last season.

I was hoping for Murphy or Newton. Mims though had the potential to end up being the best tackle from this draft. Just kind of frustrating though how the Bengals somehow find a way to take first round picks that most likely won’t even start or play their rookie year. They are in a Super Bowl window right now and the last two years with their first round picks they have taken guys that was more for the future rather than immediate help now.
