  1. Just heard on the radio that Hillsborough County officials are meeting right now to discuss reopening procedures for Tampa area. There are only 35 hospitalized CV cases in the county. Roughly 1.5 million population.
  2. But they are not forcing people out of their houses if they want to stay in. No one has to participate if they don't want to.
  3. My 81 year old mother knows how to take care of herself and wouldn't do that. She understands what's going on, and knows how to take precautions. You're acting as if when we open businesses back up that everyone is just going to run out and play sardines. Not gonna happen. Most people a very responsible. I'm fine with lowering building capacities for a while. I'm fine with leaving schools closed until fall, because kids can't be expected to share a desk with 8 other kids and not bring things home.
  4. And polls are only as accurate as the people doing the polls.
  5. There are people protesting all over the country. Virtually everyone I know from every where around the country wants businesses to open. I think it's the people that want things closed who are the squeaky wheel trying to impose their will on others.
  6. Posted this in one of the threads in Break Room. Thought I would add it here in case folks don't go to that one. Interesting Coronavirus 'Patient Zero' May Have Started Pandemic In November or Earlier
  7. Time to go start a campfire and try these.
  8. Heard about this originally on Larry Elder's show. He said the report he got is they have the resources right now to be able to test 2500 people fairly quickly.
  9. Maybe Kentucky also has triple the cases that they think they have.
  10. I know you can't do a direct extrapolation, but if this blind test is even close it means that around 12,000 of the 40,000 in Chelsea have had CV-19. Their current positive tests is 712 with 39 deaths. One third of people in Massachusetts study tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies | Daily Mail Online
  11. I only know of one. Were there more?
  12. That's one person who is the major stock holder in one company that has benefitted from this. You can't equate one company doing well to the economy is doing alright. The economy has taken its worst hit since 1946.
  13. I'm in the same boat. MrsC wanted a dog. So I got a dog. Then she heard boy dogs attach better to women so she wanted a boy dog. Now "I" have a boy and a girl dog. They are the 2 Viszlas up above. (Wrigley & Chief) People call them Velcro Viszlas, because they are stuck to you from the minute you get up.
  14. I had gotten in the habit of ordering all of my meat from Wild Fork in Fort Lauderdale. They delivered in our area 3 days a week. Right now you have to keep trying until you hit a window. I'm super happy with the quality.
  15. I work in at a facility that has nearly 5,000 employees. Taking care of myself and others at a grocery store is easy.
