2024 Outlook

How much higher can the Rebels climb? They've taken on all comers during their current run, beating back Johnson Central's 'beast from the east', denying upstart Franklin County, outrunning Douglass' wild horses, beating CovCath black and blue, and taking Corbin's best shot, twice. They have yet to meet a mountain they couldn't summit with Haddix in charge. Next season will again feature rugged peaks in the form of a daunting schedule and deep class of 4A contenders. The trio of Quisenberry, D. Brown, and G. Brown will stretch defenses and coverage units paper thin with speed to burn. Bodner's leadership and two-way capabilities were a bedrock of the Rebels' success and leave a noticeable void, but with the other pieces Boyle has returning, finding someone to safely distribute the ball is perhaps the greatest off-season query. The union of Haddix, Q, and the Boyle brand will birth heavy expectations of a fifth consecutive championship.

LCA week 1, Bryan station week 2, then the same schedule the rest of the way.

As of now my plans are to make my first ever trip to Boyle County to cover their bowl games. I just got the games from Coach Haddix, via Twitter.

Is the Turner kid good enough yet to move into the starting role as QB?  I have been told that there was a QB transferring in.  The person didn’t mention a name or from where, so it could all be a bunch of bologna.

The transfer is already at Boyle and listed on Hudl as BC player.

Anyone know if Boyle has scheduled or is planning on trying to schedule one of the 6A big 3 in Louisville?

No.  Schedule has already been set for 2024.  I know that Boyle tried to this past season but it fell through with one of them.

Makes sense. Looks like there are a couple young QB's that got more playing time than Nason and Woodford's starting QB is a junior.

That is the kid.  Transferred in October.

The Turner kid was used as a Receiver toward the end of last year.
