Trey Kaufman-Renn (Sellersburg, IN) pitched in with 2 points and 8 boards. Purdue hit 48.5% from the floor. For Maryland Derik King (Baltimore, MD) scored a game-high 26 points and had a game-high 12 boards. Maryland shot 45.5% from the floor.

Santa Clara (4-5) pulled off a little upset last night as they beat McNeese (4-4) by seven points. The winners connected on 41.1% from the field on the road while the Cowboys hit just 39.3% of their shots. Leading the Broncos was Tyree Bryan (Orlando, FL), who scored 17 points off the bench. Elijah Mahi (Toronto, ON) had 10 boards and 9 points. Leading the Cowboys with 17 points apiece were Joe Charles (Carencro, LA) and Christian Shumate (Chicago, IL). Shumate added 7 boards and 3 steals.
