  2. It was good to watch Purdue (8-2,1-1 Big) post the win over a good Maryland (8-2,1-1 Big) yesterday. Braden Smith (Westfield, IN0 paced the winners with 24 points and 10 assists. Trey Kaufman-Renn (Sellersburg, IN) pitched in with 2 points and 8 boards. Purdue hit 48.5% from the floor. For Maryland Derik King (Baltimore, MD) scored a game-high 26 points and had a game-high 12 boards. Maryland shot 45.5% from the floor.
  3. Santa Clara (4-5) pulled off a little upset last night as they beat McNeese (4-4) by seven points. The winners connected on 41.1% from the field on the road while the Cowboys hit just 39.3% of their shots. Leading the Broncos was Tyree Bryan (Orlando, FL), who scored 17 points off the bench. Elijah Mahi (Toronto, ON) had 10 boards and 9 points. Leading the Cowboys with 17 points apiece were Joe Charles (Carencro, LA) and Christian Shumate (Chicago, IL). Shumate added 7 boards and 3 steals.
  4. The Rams (4-5) had zero problems obliterating the Wildcats (2-9) by 22 points this afternoon. Fordham shot 47.5% from the field in the win while the Wildcats hit 40%. Jackie Johnson III (Wichita, KS) led the winners with 16 points. Japhet Medor ( Wellington, FL) chipped in with 12 points, 6 boards and 3 assists. In the loss, Anthony McComb III (Dayton, OH) had a game-high 20 points to go with 9 boards, 3 steals, and 2 assists.
  5. Yes, I love college basketball, unlike most of you posting or reading on this board or site. Yes, I post on it a lot. In this game, U.Mass. (3-5) was able to post the 12-point win over a gritty NJIT (1-8) squad. The Minutemen hit 50% of their shots from the field while the Highlanders connected on 34.5%. Daniel Rivera (San Juan, Puerto Rico) paced the winners with 16 points and 11 boards. Coming off the bench to aid in the cause was Marqui Worth (Anaheim, CA) with 12 points and 2 assists. He averages just a little over a point per game. For the Highlanders, Tariq Francis (Pittsburgh, PA) led the way with 24 points. He averages a little over 19 per game.

Nique Clifford (Colorado Springs, CO) led the Rams with 13 points and 9 boards.
