August 29, 201313 yr No. They were not invited to join (or, at least, haven't been yet). In my heart I really believe that both them and UC will be headed to the ACC at some point. Okay. I jumped the gun. Thank you Sir.

September 2, 201313 yr I thought the ACC had some kinda agreement preventing that? Preventing adding additional members? No, I don't think so. But the grant-of-rights deal for television dollars makes leaving conference more difficult because it makes you less attractive to the other leagues.
September 2, 201313 yr This should be fun to watch play out. It seems he enjoys the limelight so Michigan State and UConn make sense. Can't sleep on USC and the Ellis Myles connection. Can't discount UCLA as Snider has been out west multiple times so it won't be brand new to him. Oklahoma State seems like a place he could start immediately. Cincinnati and Illinois are fairly close to home so neither of those can be slept on either. My question.....which I blame on conferences adding and switching schools every two months......who will play UL the most? Is it UConn and Cincy or just UConn? If I'm coaching a Kentucky kid, I'm very leery of Travis Ford given his track record of making promises to local kids that aren't always kept. Not saying that Snider is in the same vein as an Adam Wing, etc., but just that it's something that's in the back of my mind.
September 5, 201313 yr I don't follow this very closely, is Ohio St. not in the running? Thought maybe the Russell connection could keep him interested in OSU?
September 5, 201313 yr I don't follow this very closely, is Ohio St. not in the running? Thought maybe the Russell connection could keep him interested in OSU? As far as I have seen Ohio State isn't interested and I could be wrong but I think they may plan to use Russell as a combo guard so the need for Snider isn't great.

Alford doesn't seem like a very good (read: accomplished) coach, and his own son is going to be a guard there too.
September 6, 201313 yr Not sure how tight he and Blueitt are but I did read Blueitt is working him for UCLA.
September 9, 201313 yr Saw Quentin and his family Sunday morning at the Original House of Pancakes in Champaign with Coach Groce and staff.
September 9, 201313 yr Saw Quentin and his family Sunday morning at the Original House of Pancakes in Champaign with Coach Groce and staff. Did you get a picture by any chance?
September 9, 201313 yr “He’s real nice to the guys,” Snider said. “He’s basically just laid back.” This quote cracks me up! He is laid back... until you screw up! How does he not realize that that's a little to good to be true... Still laughing over it.
September 9, 201313 yr Did you get a picture by any chance? I don't like taking pictures. I always feel like it's an invasion. Also saw Groce with Lamar Black there for breakfast last week.
September 9, 201313 yr Leron Black. Brain fart. Was reading about Lamar Dawson and got dislexic on my names.
