Thought we should start a thread of updates from summer games. 

Yesterday reigning 5th region champion Adair County defeated Clinton County 65-55 and Southwestern Pulaski 74-66. Adair is currently without 6'7 Isaiah Cochran who is out for the summer with an injury and also 6'6 double figure guy Brayton Coomer.

Did Southwestern have Hutchinson, Simpson and Dumphord?

yes had all 3. Hutchison was really good in the game. Southwestern actually went 10-23 from 3. They look like a top 5 team in the 12th to me. Adair is just really good they played 4 upcoming seniors and 1 junior the whole game and never subbed, with the tallest one being 6'2. All 5 of those were in the rotation of the region title team last year. Whenever they get Coomer and Cochran back they will be a top 10 team in the state most likely

Pike County Central beat Shelby Valley in a close game.

 

Boyd County went 4-0 in Tennessee with wins over Knoxville Catholic, Webb School of Knoxville, Hardin Valley and Oak Ridge.

Summer Games today at Adair County featuring 3 of last years state tournament teams.  All game times are are central.

I'm not sure if there are any other games.  I just received the schedule for the DCA games.

DCA over North Laurel by 2 and beaten by Southwestern on a buzzer beater.

Scores from Adair County today. 

Adair County 69 Bowling Green 52. Adair without 2 starters Coomer and Cochran. BG without lead scorer Deuce Bailey but did have new comer Joseph Hurt from Fairdale who average 15 ppg last season.

Bowling Green 88 Pulaski County 72. Pulaski without starting pg Carson Fraley but did have the 2 new starters from Wayne County Kendall Phillips and Seth Farmer. 

East Ridge beat Prestonburg today. 

Shelby Valley beat Powell County pretty handily. 
 

Letcher County Central beat Prestonburg.

There are some games at South Laurel this Thursday and Friday.  Does anyone have the particulars?
