Interesting news on Fugate.  He played really well for DCA this season.  If he left, I figured he would stay in the area.

12th:  Someone posted that Antajuan Dumphord was going from Wayne County to Southwestern.  Has that been verified?

Dumphord is currently enrolled at Southwestern and has attended football workouts.

There are rumors of two more transfers.  Pulaski is the supposed landing spot which, in my opinion, puts them head and shoulders above the 12th region if it were to happen.

12th Region has become the hotbed for transfers. 😂

Pulaski County would be a state championship contender in 2026 if they land those two transfers. Forty years after their previous state title.

I think one will go for sure.  There are too many in Pulaski saying it's done.  I'm not sure about the other one.  I know they play on the same AAU team and seem to be pretty tight.

I am assuming they are talking about the other two from Wayne County in this thread. Under the assumption that it is who is being referenced, Kendall Phillips and Seth Farmer are the names. If the poster is referring to other student athletes, I am interested to hear.

If that’s the case the dynamics in the region would change dramatically.  Wayne was arguably one of the three best teams but with a new coach, dissension, and losing three starters they’ll struggle.  DCA is losing Dut and now Fugate along with a dealing with a coaching change.   Pulaski is adding two experienced players to an already good squad, one of the players who has some size.  It will depend on how well they mesh and play together.  Sometimes these things don’t work out as well in reality as they look like they would on paper.

Yes.

If those transfers happen, Wayne will be a team with one senior that played in 6 games for his career before having ACL surgery at the end of the season, a junior that played in 14 games last season, with the rest of the team being sophomores and freshman.  Edwards is a sophomore and would be the only starter left having started 2 years at point.  That is assuming all those players stay.
