I'm fine with 4, 5 or 6. It's a good thing for all teams to be in the playoffs. In order for programs to develop, they need to play games. I believe Indiana does it that way. Basically, if you don't win during the final week of the "season", you're done. Kentucky has only one class in basketball, and every year, each and every one of them makes the playoffs.

I'm going out on a limb by saying that the 'Cats will take this one.

I really love both of these programs. I'm pulling for the Tigers, but I believe the Dogs may have too much to handle. By taking-on 4A Holmes, Bellevue takes a big step toward preparing for a play-off run. Coach Lickert needs to have his guys focused, or else the pride and desire of their small school opponent may make for an interesting ball game.

Its been a long time since Owen has beaten Grant. I'm really happy to see the Rebels gave them a good game and I hope they have a successful season.

This may not have been a good year for BW to renew the series. How long has it been since the Red Colonels have prevailed against their Dixie Highway rivals? This may be the year.

Add me to the list of posters who are quite suprised. Congrats SC! Indeed, it looks to be up for grabs this year in 3A mountain football.

So Ryle trails 20 - 7 at the half and must kick off to start the second half. Will the missed PAT make things interesting? Sounds like aside from the first drive, Ryle has not threatened.

The Bobcats are on a mission. SC will provide strong resistance, but Breathitt will wear them down and cruise.

The regional results in class A boys: St Henry - 1st Villa Madonna - 2nd Bishop Brossart - 3rd Walton Verona - 4th Corey Stoll of VMA takes 1st. Congrats to all and good luck next week at State!

Central's decision in the 1st qtr, to punt on 4th & 1 from mid field suprised me. They definitely have some great players. The Birds were able to get chunks of yards thru the air. Tony G did a great job of seeing downfield while being chased around by the swarm. Centrals O line looked gassed by the 4th. Both team will make the finals, will they both repeat?

Congrats Pirates. You are on track for a rematch with another pretty athletic bunch in the Yellowjackets. I got to see them tonight and those guys can make some plays. Good luck from here on out.

NewCath has found a way to win in a number of close shoot-outs this year. Their record against AAAAA opponents is truely impressive. I seriously doubt that any other AA school is scheduling and wipping so many big schools. Go Breds!

It is encouraging to read the possitive posts regarding the future of OC football. I hope the young players and new comers will follow thru with commitment and a great effort so they can enjoy the rewards.

This is great story. Congrats Berea! If I remember correctly, Lynn Camp's program was down pretty low a few years back, but they have rebuilt and are again competative.

Dayton gets their first W, & the Mustangs put up three scores. Not bad.

Inspite of early promise, its been another dissapointing season for the Bulldogs. CCH has been on the short side of some lopesided scores, but they can name it in this one.

I agree. This certainly is shaping up to be an interesting region in AAAA
