Final

This must have been a whale of ball game. Nice come back by the Tigers vs a loaded 2A HC team. Congrats to both.

Any game details on this one?

HC was up 36 0 when they put the second team in and the Tigers ran all over them. The game was not as close as it seems.

Any stats? How did Roenker look?

Not a bad game to start the season for the Tigers. They do need some work on their O and D lines, but like a said its not the end of the world. They played a good team in Holy Cross. The QB for for Holy Cross is a stud I will give him that. One play he bobbled the snap picked it up ran to his left and threw a bomb to a reciever in the endzone. Holy Cross looks like a good team to me.

He was also hit as he threw:thumb:

Whats Roenker's stats?

I like the unis for HC.

Roenker had around 70yds and 2 tds at half. I don't know what he finished the game with.

What about Buckler tonight, how did he play?

I would say he had around 100 yards with a TD. DJ Slater had 2 TD's.

No bashing intended honestly, but 75% of Bucklers yards were aganist the jv team. HC 1st team defense stifled them. Also, can't say enough about how hard both teams played, Belluve never gave up, good group of kids.

Solid game for HC. Dominated the line of scrimmage with running game & senior laden OL. Up 36-0 before 2nd team defensive collapse and Koz explosion (putting 1st team back in for a series).

Will need to pass more though against tougher opponents...new offensive formation, but same philosophy (pound with Roenker, Walker, Smith). Need to throw 8-10 deep balls a game...will generate at least 2 TD's a game, guaranteed.

Do that, then sit back and watch how your running lanes open up...you will be amazed!!

Will be a bit tougher challenge next week with Class A #7 ranked Pikeville at Pikeville (Sat 8:30). Should be a good one.

Every TD Was scored on the JV. Not taking anything away from Buckler he is to good for Bellevue. Roenker Had 84 yards 2TDs and Smith Had 92 yards with 2TDs Norris had a 70 yards TD Pass. Bellevue couldnt stop any part of the HC Offense. But HC is still a 19th rank in 2A Right?? lol
