Not surprised that much myself. Ive heard all summer that this years SC squad would be one for the ages in Inez and I believe all the hype may be coming true. Breathitt will be fine, the key will be can Haddix carry the load when teams sell out on Fugate. If not the expectations in Jackson will not be met and some other school from the east will find themselves battling Central in Bowling Green.

Breathitt had many awful timed penalties and drops from WR's. They basically gave the game away but I gotta give props to SC for holding BC down to 0 points. Its gonna be a fun year in the mountains watching BC, SC, Pburg and Belfry.

HUGE UPSET! I don't care what anyone says, Breathitt was the pre-season favorite to win it all. Congrats to the Cards on a big win!

I'm sorry, but in my mind, and a ton of other people's, Lou. Central was/is the preseason favorite to repeat (3peat).

That is the biggest shocker!!!! The question is how many 3A coaches will get their hands on this game film and possibly see the strategy for holding the potent BobCat offense in check.

Inez (Martin Co) between Louisa (Lawrence Co) and Paintsville (Johnson Co). I said I thought SC could win. Suprised by the shutout. Might take some pressure off Breathitt. Congrats to Coach Hager and the Cards. He's done a great job there.

This is a very surprising result. It's hard to believe that Fugate could be shut out.

The goose egg is a big surprise to me. SC is tough - Mason County found that out last year.

Add me to the list of posters who are quite suprised. Congrats SC! Indeed, it looks to be up for grabs this year in 3A mountain football.

I was so wrong Sheldon Clark must be a beast of a team to take down the Bobcats like that.
