Why would he only have 5 rushes? Did he get hurt or something?

He was never on the field...Sc held the ball the whole game...at halftime the explosive Breathitt offense had like 15 yards total offense

I would say he less than 10 touches for the game. I was shocked that they didnt run the ball up the gut more. There was nothing outside.

Sounds like Hager was eating clock and playing keep way just like his ole coach Haywood. He learned from the best. Perhaps he is now coming into his own as a head coach.

 

HUGE win for Sheldon Clark. If the pupil can't beat the teacher this year, it will never happen. And that goes for Matney and Hager!

I agree. I was thinking the same thing. It's not like he didn't have enough against him already. (Eastern KY Mountain team and going to UT) I still hope he wins it.

We used a similar strategy against the Bobcats last year, and it worked, they scored on a fumble return to give them their only 7 points for the game, only problem was we were left with six. However, that was last year, I never would have guessed Breathitt would be held to less than 14 all year, such an explosive offense, congratulations to the Cardinals.

This can not be true? The Breathitt Co. team I seen last season would have Fugate with 5 out of the first 6 or 7 touches.:confused:

This doesn't shock me too much because we have played SC the last 2 years and they have prepared themselves to beat teams like BC. Congrats SC and good luck rest of the season.

I totally agree. I think he was forgetting about Central. I'm sorry, there aren't many teams out there in 3A and I don't care how smash mouth of a team you are. You won't be able to run with Lou Central's speed.
