This team was never the same after Zach Price went down with the injury. Congrats to Eastern. They are battle tested and will be tough to beat. Lots of coaches will be calling Tates Creek for film. You can believe that!

Eastern is great. My buddy and I saw them up at the LIT and they were as good of team as I've seen all season.

Eastern is the odds-on favorite to win the state. They destroyed some pretty good teams along the way to the region crown. Congrats to a very fine ball club. They have the official target on their backs at Rupp. Eastern could have sleepwalked to the finals in the other bracket but all of the teams that have a chance to win the whole shooting match are in the upper bracket. What a great draw for all the teams in the lower bracket.

Eastern is going to be extremely tough to beat at Rupp. May head down Friday to see them play if they make it there.

Saw Tates Creek beat them this year, so I'll beg to differ. They are incredibly talented, but can be beaten. If someone like Warren Central, Clark County, Christian County, Lexington Catholic, Dixie Heights, or Bullitt East can run their system patiently, take care of the ball, and make shots, they'll have a shot. Eastern will be worn down from a rough district and regional tournament, and don't have any easy games once they get to Lexington.
