Could Boone County impose a special school tax on the builders for every new home that's built in the county?

With the enormous presence Amazon is making in Hebron, KY, I would think they would be a great partner to help out with Conner's field. Could get very creative with naming the field.

Who covers the cost of on going maintenance on Ryle's field? When the time comes for a replacement, who will cover that expense?

I get what people are saying about the criteria question for sure. It's a confusing situation. The year Barker won 5A POY, someone else from 5A was Mr. FB. Dante Hendrix should of absolutely been a finalist for this award. No way the 6A POY is not a finalist.

Check out the Bulldog's videos on Free David Dooley page on FB. The possible corruption that exists in this case is reprehensible. LTS should resign immediately, be disbarred and put on trial herself.

14-0. Torres with 2 TD's.

Awesome news for a great kid!!

Too many parents are caught up in winning instead of developing and challenging their children. Play them up against older kids, that's how they get better. Holding your kid back to dominate is fools gold.

I would venture to say that 95% of people have no idea how hard it is to play at the next level. They just don't know what they are getting into when they sign up. It is one of the toughest grinds one will ever experience. Can't have one foot in the water. Better be all in or you will be out very soon.

Congrats to the Cougars. Arlo best coach in NKY and one the top in the state.

I thought an "outside" rating service ranked him #1. Trust me, if E11 had him #1, he would be going to LA. Let's not give up. I think he still has a great shot to get there.

Any Golden Tickets handed out for The Opening invites to the KY boys?

Very nice article. Great kid. Conner to lose a good one and UK will become a better place upon his enrollment.

Did he get his invite to LA for the finals?

I believe he would not be eligible for a ride til 2018.

Congrats to Tanner. Paying for your education with your athletic talent is an outstanding accomplishment. Now go have a great Sr. Season!

I believe the E11 finals are in LA now.

Loved Reynolds Flynn and his red blazer as well. What a team it was.

Simply the best. Nothing even close since. It was a circus.

The non call on the Conley steal was a horrible call. Game changer imo. Conner was making a run. Since when can a kid drive someone from the FT line to the basket with their rear end with one hand wrapped around the defensive player? Refs with a very rough day. Great season by the Cougars! Way to battle. Cougar Pride.

Great win for the Cougars last night. Trailed most of the game and got it done at the right time. The Conley kid is an unsung hero on this team. Kid contributes solid minutes and was part of the comeback run. Great 6th man. Good luck on Sunday boys. Let it all hang out.

Bring the games back to the High School gyms. That atmosphere will never be duplicated.
