I find it ironic that every KY kid gets questioned for playing "inferior" competition except for Alexander. However, when some of these kids get on a National stage, they perform exceptionally well against their National peers. Guess some people need reasons for their lame justifications.

Like Clyde said, it's becoming more and more common. It's a great thing for kids who know what they want and where they want to play ball. It's a stepping stone to an early signing period in D1 College Football. Perhaps Hedger should look into this. Is he planning on enrolling in Jan?

This is what I was referring to gentleman. Just found this on Google. I have heard and read about kids doing this. Guess these kids had their mind made up. "The usage last fall of financial-aid agreements, available for January-enrolling prospects on Aug. 1 of their senior years to secure a scholarship, is among the accelerating factors. Prospects who sign financial-aid agreements and enroll early do not sign letters of intent."

I thought kids could sign a letter early these days (heard something about this). Doesn't this lock the school to the kid?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Guess I think these kids should really think it through and make a final decision, not always keeping the door open and looking for the "next best thing". Make a decision, stick by it.

Congrats to this young man. Getting your education paid for while playing a sport you love is truly a blessing.

Let's remember that two years ago, the game at Scott would have never been close had Fogle played and last year Conner won 32-20 and the game was never in doubt for the Cougars. Game certainly did not come down to the last possession. I know you are looking for optimism, but keep things in proper perspective.

Conner just needs to continue to focus on getting better each week and I think they will. While these losses are tough, I KNOW they will aid their future success. They had a nice run the last few years sweeping the county in 2012 and 2013. You only lose if you don't learn boys and I know you are learning alot. Stay tough and stay the course. Cougar Pride.
