I think you can get a more realistic read on a player is he is rated a consensus 4 or 5 star. Consensus meaning.........was he a 4 or 5 at Rivals, Scout, 247 and ESPN? Or was he a 2 at one, 3 at another and maybe 4 at two others. The consensus guys usually pan out. Can't just take one or two service ratings and run with them.

He was clearly in command of the offense when they were inside the 10 and badly needing a first down when Coker ran for it. Saban was a silent observer. Hire good people and get outta their way.

Did I hear correctly today that Saban has never allowed a 100 yd. rushing game by a QB since he's been at Bama? That is a statistic that should worry Clemson.

It's a great thing to have Kash coming in so mature. The fact that he will be 19 soon is a huge factor. He should be able to take hold and lead some younger guys. The fact that he will be able to play at UK as a 22-23 year old senior is huge.

Congrats to all three of these young men on reaching the Pinnacle of their accomplishments. It's a great honor to play in this game to represent those who served and give us our freedom each and everyday. Represent your schools, your state, your hometown and your name. Looking forward to seeing these guys compete on Saturday. Enjoy it and take it all in boys. The game will end, but the memories will last a lifetime.

Situation very similar to UK. An underclassman takes the job, and the guys who are upperclassman leave. Happens frequently. Guys wanna play.

The competition would not have ended if Coker would of struggled and Bama started to lose games because of it.

Sure hope they can redshirt Kash. Saw where Bama has like 20 5th year guys playing. That is how you build a program. Redshirt as many guys as you possibly can. Unfortunately, that's why UK has been in a tough spot. They have been forced to play guys right away and not able to redshirt many. Once you can start redshirting the majority of your incoming classes, that's when you can take it to a new level.
