The most highly anticipated game in the 9th Region in some time, especially since they were not able to conclude the "skating rink" game. Tip-off is at 12:00 tomorrow afternoon at The Bank of Kentucky Center.

Who wins and why?

More than bragging rights on the line, this one will be a "dog fight". Both teams are capable of pulling out the victory.

I can make all kinds of logical arguments as to why each team wins. I have no clue who will win.

It will be a fun game though.

It's one of those games where if you're into matchups and strategy you're going to be in heaven.

How many priests will be behind each bench will give a good estamation on the winner. Just a thought.:sarcastic:

........

Two teams that had outstanding seasons, both immensely talented, both capable of making a run at Rupp if they are fortunate enough to win again on Monday night.

Most intriguing thing for me is does CovCath repeat their strategy from early January to use CVH to face-guard Pangllo for 94'. So many great potential match-ups with Drew vs Bo and Jake vs Schult. Love the Dawn - Ruthsatz match-up on the sidelines.

When all is said and done, I think NewCath wins by 4-6 points.

My "Spidey Senses" are telling me that New Cath pulls this one out

I am going to go out on a limb and say the Catholic team wins. Which one I have no idea. I would guess it is the one that scores more points. Should be a tremendous game and both teams better strap it up. These are the two best teams in the 9th region, (Holmes not far behind).

This game is a coin toss for me, Covington Catholic will have the best shooter in the building, Joe Frederick!

Biggest regional matchup of powerhouses since Holmes vs. Boone in '09, the year that Holmes won it all. I'll take CovCath in OT.

I don't want it to happen but I see CovCath winning. Play solid D get the Breds rattled and start throwing up to many outside shots...

I predict that a small percentage of game attendees will be an hour late for the game because they didn't realize, or they forgot that there is a "spring forward time change" on Sunday.

I think it will come down to the containment of both teams guards and how strong each teams insides are.

I just don't see this being close. NCC by 10-15. They are just that much better than anyone in the 9th.
