This area has really had a plethora of DI QB's as of late.

I won't even go as far back (even though it's not really that long ago) to Jared Lorenzen, but let's take a look just over the last 5 years.

Isn't his Dad Merrill? Did he go to BYU? Congrats to the young man as he is going to a good program. Is his future at QB there?

Yes Merrill is his father.

 

Merrill played at Idaho St.

 

I would expect him to be in the mix. BYU has had several former QB's of his stature.
