I guess I meant can it take place after the 4 years of school is over. So ALL BYU athletes are out of practice for 2 years before they play again. Gonna do some research on this. I'll be back.

It used to be that you serve your mission for 2 years prior to any student- athlete can participate in any sports. So a student- athlete can or will be a 20-21 yr old freshman. Now time or policy might have changed, but that's how it was for many years.

Many great college QBs have come from BYU; Young, McMahon, Hall, Bosco, Beck, Detmer. Best wishes to Beau and I would love to see him add his name to that list. Congratulations, what an honor.

So happy for Beau. I have loved watching him play quarterback. Hope I will get to see BYU on the tv in the next couple of years and to see Beau play. Don't think I will be able to make many road trips to his games .:idunno::banana:

BYU will make the trip to Nippert in 2016 to play UC. Should be fun if Beau is behind center.
