I believe Matt Rose went to Samford then transfer to Lipscomb. You might be right. I guess time will tell. The one good thing Newcath went outside the box for this hire I give them credit for that.I like the hire. Congrats Mr. LickertWhen Eddie was the coach at Newcath he had Dads, Uncles, and Cousins help coaching look how that turn out 2 out of 3 state championships. Newcath is a big family you just need someone to run that family the right way good things will happen.Cooper now looks like the team to beat in the 9th. Congrats to the Jags.CCHS is really good this year and they are fun to watch. That saying beating a team almost by 100 points is a little to much. There are ways to make that margin lower.Come on CCH.Fern Creek and Cooper, Covcath has more talent on their team then those team's. Just my opinionWhen you have 2 D1 high level players and 2 D2 high level players and 2 D1 football players on the team you shouldn't be losing to teams that you should be beating. My concern is they have a ton experience on the team to be turning the ball over this much.I agreeWouldn't you think Covcath would be up for this game, especially what happen this past year in finals in 9th region when Cooper put it to them.DittoK thanks, would be huge wins for them thenCovcath turns the ball over way to much, for a top team in the state they need to cut that down. They had 20 something turnovers in yesterday's game against BallardIf Fern Creeks wins this will they be rank in the nation.Wow, just saw this score from Monday night on Khsaa Scoreboard.Only basketball small school i can think of would be Newcath winning the All A State 3yrs in a row.Should of been a D1 player though.I think someone started a thread just like this couple years ago about Covcath Basketball team winning the 9th region every year . Look how that turn out the past 2 years. I guess thats why you play the games you never know what can happen in sportsCongrats to Ncc big winUntil CJ commits some where and puts up good numbers in college or even plays at that college. Then you can say he was the highest recruit in this area the last 20yrs. Until then we will never know.In my opinion CJ isn't the best player on his team. CVH is and has been ever since N Ruthsatz graduated the real problem is that he should of won the player of the year, not McNeil or CJ. The next closest person to CVH is Kunkel I think they both got screwed. Now this is just my opinionGreat point.
