That's easy.......CovCath &/or Notre Dame ..... best all around academics & athletics in NKY. Just ask the current 8th graders at St Joe's why so many are headed to Kenton Co. Just asking what has CovCath won in the past 3 to 4 years in sports.

I do see your point about Bolden being POY but you also have to look at what Hatton has done to playing with a young team. Bolden also shot 35 times against NewCath. He did go off in the forth Q but I don't think he can shoot like that all the time. I wish Bolden and Hatton best of luck the rest of their high school years.

Highlands had a good game plan for NewCath. Was one of the best games Highlands played all year very proud of those boys. NewCath is a very good team thought Highlands did a good job on the bigs. Beuter hit some threes in first half. McDonald had a very nice game especially in second half did great hitting free throws. Shulte had a sweet Dunk at the end of game and he dictates shots in the lane. Key for NewCath is the Pangallo kid. Boy is he fast has quick hands on D and makes great passes. Enjoy watching him play and also has one of the best 10 to 15 foot jump shot in the region. Congrats to NewCath Good Luck the rest of the way. Good Luck to the seniors boys at Highlands in the future proud of you guys.

I really don't see Bolden growing that much more he is a 17 year old sophomore. IMO

I'm curious so what player are you referring to that didn't play football that Newcath basketball coaches told them not to play Football.

What about Coach Jimmy Pangallo for head coaching job. Maybe we can have Zach Pangallo and Drew McDonald transfer in. They are related to JB maybe he can persuade them. Lol

When my son was playing aau in grade school Bolden played for the Ohio Purple Team I guess he is not playing for them anymore I think he played up cause he was a year older. You can tell Bolden was going to be real good. Him and Hatton together would be fun to watch.

Lol. I'm a Highlands Football Fan. It is amazing what the football Coaches and Players have accomplish. Baseball and Basketball in Kentucky is just hard to win State Titles. I'm just a fan of high school sports and want Highlands and Newcath to succeed. Have friends in both Schools that will last forever.

I'm a highlands guy and I respect your comment. But lest be realistic here if football was like basketball where there are no classes highlands wouldn't of won all those state championships. One word SHAMROCKS. It is harder to win in basketball and baseball state championships in the state of Kentucky. IMO

My son was coach by Mr. Pangallo in Aau not once did he persuade my son or me to that he wanted us to go to Newcath. His goal was for the kids to all play High School Basketball. My Son choice was Highlands and Mr Pangallo was very happy for him. Great Person and Great Family. They would help any kid out in basketball no matter what high school they attend. I know for a fact during the summer they welcome any kids to come up in their open gyms even if they don't go to Newcath.
