Just saying NewCath is starting to play good baseball and so is Highlands. NewCath and Highlands have a lot of kids back from last year and until someone beats Newcath in the 9th region tourney I will consider them as my #1 or #2 and by the way Newcath smoked Beechwood and you have them # 3

1. Newcath or Covcath. Both have played top teams in state 3. Highlands. 4. Ryle 5. Connor 6. Cooper 7. Beechwood 8. St. Henry 9. Dixie 10. Boone county

Good to see the Bartels boy pitch good great pitcher great kid. Pangallo boy is flat out killing the ball what a athlete he is if you haven't seen him play you are missing out. Good win for the Breds.

Good young players. Another great young player is the Soph Pangallo boy heard from some parents Newcath beat Beechwood yesterday best player on the field was him. Heard he is leading the Newcath team in hitting batting over .600 pretty impressive with the teams they played already. A lot of good talent for some young players in NKY area.

Walter I guess you are to young to realize what Coach Ron Dawn brings to the table now that he is the head coach at NewCath. They will be tough to beat in the 9th they have most returning starters and Ron will bring that toughness they need on D. Lookout 9th region and they are playing from what I heard the toughest schudule next year. King of the Bluegrass, Lexington Catholic Tourney and throw in there the All A State Tourney. My #1 pick in region Hands Down and if they get the Moeves they will even be better and have a lot of depth.

Ben Weyer's Grandfather Mr. Weyer was a graduate of NewCath and won a state baseball championship so Ben does have some ties to NewCath.

All the Pangallo's Boys were good. Jimmy was a spark plug. Nicky was unreal quick can shoot and play D. Steve is the only Pangallo that scored 1000. Chris could flat out shoot they all were great team players. For the young ones Grant Pangallo was quick as lightning. Zach IMO is the best Athlete out of all of his Uncles and Cousins. Stephen will be a stud also in hoops. I will give the edge to Zach he stills has 2 more years have watch him develop ever since he was a 1st grader he went to grade school with my Son.

I think the best Pangallo out of all of them is the one that is playing now. Ron will love coaching him. Kid is a stud in any sport he plays.

Congrats to Coach Brannen great coach and Walton should be lucky to have him.

If this is true about Ron Dawn taking over. Watch out 9th region cause the talent that is up there Ron will take them to the next level. They will be #1 in my book. Damn Highlands why didn't you go get Ron. Lol

From what I'm hearing Newcath will be the team to beat in the 9th. Most returning kids that started and also Pangallo, McDonald and Shulte are a year older. Plus the Weyer boy. I would say you would have to put Newcath and Holmes as #1 in 9th. No way Holmes is 10pts better then Newcath even if they get transfer from the same city and that I do not understand how they can get away with that. We need some of that in Ft. Thomas lol

May not in Basketball but Newcath sure wins Regional's and State Championships in Baseball.

Why would you be surprise and also it is true. They must see something in him they like. Also he is a true Soph so that means he is still growing wouldn't be surprise if he gets up to 6"8 or bigger. Congrats to Mr. McDonald. And to Mr. Pangallo who is also could be a D1 baseball player kid is a stud in that sport.

If they can talk the Pangallo boy into playing QB and they will have the Smith kid at running back you will have a very fast back field with the Franzen boy being your WR they would be more then fine. IMO

I understand you frustration on this matter cause you are a big time Holmes fan. But it has nothing to do with being Jealous. My team didn't make the region so no Jealous here. Just heard it from different people from different schools. But be honest if Holmes didn't win the region and Covcath did and you heard this rumor you wouldn't be concern. Come On

If Holmes got to practice there not saying they did just what I heard no other 9th region teams got to that's is advantage for them to shoot at a gym like that then it is shooting at a high school gym. Just my opinion you agree or disagree

Like I said it was talk about down state this weekend don't know if is true or not and yes it would of happen the afternoon of the Draw.

Don't know just what I heard from people down state this weekend. I guess they thought maybe it was advantage for them to practice there wish in IMO in is a advantage.

There is a rumor going around in the 9th region that Holmes got to practice at the Bank of Kentucky Center Saturday and Sunday before the 9th region don't know if it's true or not heard it from a lot people down in the State tourney this past weekend.

You right about Ft's also it did hurt Holmes. I though when Holmes went 2 3 was a great coaching move in second half cause they couldn't guard MC in man to man.
