Welp, that was quick.

I would have to think that this was the game plan before Grant decided on moving on to Walton. I'm sure that he, Detzel, and Dawn discussed this once Grant was accepted for the Walton job.

Congrats to Coach Dawn--Obvious choice assuming he was interested--The 'Breds won't skip a beat. I'd only wonder how long he'll stay, but my guess is his replacement is in-house and being groomed for the job as we speak?

In the other thread it was mentioned he has a grandson in the 7th grade so I am thinking at least five years but I am just speculating here.

Ron is in play to be the new coach, but he ISNT the new coach yet. A lot of things still in play.

If this is true about Ron Dawn taking over. Watch out 9th region cause the talent that is up there Ron will take them to the next level. They will be #1 in my book. Damn Highlands why didn't you go get Ron. Lol

I know the info is correct and Richard Skinner is wrong in this thread and wrong in the Brannen/Walton thread.

Never would have been in play as a candidate at Highlands IMO. Brannen would not have come to HHS either as he is big on hoops only players from what I am told. The Dawn hiring certainly makes NCC a very formidable force in the 9th next year.
