Color me shocked. Heard about this a couple weeks ago but didn't pay any attention to it.

Obviously, this is a pure "I've got to make more money now and in retirement" move for Grant and no one can blame him Young family. He has to look long-term. Leaving a potential #1 in the region tells you that.

 

Best wishes to Grant. Good school system. Nice community.

Had the chance to really get to know Grant this season and I wish him and his family nothing but the best. He has always been a class act.

 

This is definetly a case of thinking about his family first and anyone that blames him is crazy.

Not sure on that last part. I still think NCC will end up with them but this could change things.

Wow. Shocker. In general, what kind of difference in $$ are we talking about. Just averages.

Congrats to Grant. As a former teammate of mine, and more importantly, a friend, I am glad that he was able to make this decision. It could not have been easy, but you have to take care of the young ones.

Congrats to Walton. That is about as good as it could get for a new coach. Brannen is one of the best.

Just an FYI. He ISNT the new coach yet. Has just accepted a teaching position. He may be the new coach, but it's still up in the air. Some other things still in play.
