Fire Inside Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Who do you like to get POY for the 8th and 9th regions. Sampson for SK has to be on a short list for the 8th region. 9th is a little more open with Hatton, Boldon the gurds for Cov Cath and the bigs for NCC, not to mention HC big man. Wow there is a lot of talent coming out of the 9th this year. Can't wait for regionals.
jolmstead Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I lean towards Campbell in the 9th. No Connor plug for Hemmerich?
Baseball Nut 24 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Hemmerich over Campbell, Hatton or Bolden ????? No way IMO. Solid player but not in my POY discussion.
jolmstead Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Hemmerich over Campbell, Hatton or Bolden ????? No way IMO. Solid player but not in my POY discussion. Just poking fun at Clyde!
TAC Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 My guess is Walter will have 5 nominees all from the same school in Covington?
Clyde Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 No Connor plug for Hemmerich? I like Sam but he's not top 10 IMO.
Yo Mama Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Levitch, Marshall, Sampson, Morgan all 8th region candidates in my opinion.
Clyde Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Just poking fun at Clyde! I was a bit confused because I'm not familiar with a school called "Connor."
NKY Bandit Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Sampson 1st in the 8th with Morgan a close 2nd. In the 9th, Hatton. Hands down. No doubt about it.
buttels Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I would throw Carson Williams in for Owen County in the 8th.
Baseball Nut 24 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Hands down Hatton in the 9th ??? - respectfully disagree. While Hatton may very well be POY in 9th to say "hands down" is crazy. It is a 3 horse race and very close between Hatton, AC & Bolden. You're either are a big Dixie supporter or don't watch very much HS basketball outside Dixie Hwy.
Sports Fan1230 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I think it is easily Bolden. Stepping up as a sophomore taking a leadership role for the Bulldogs.
Tiger1 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I lean towards Campbell in the 9th. I would vote for him if and only if he gets HC to the regional which will be a tall order.
