Honestly, they get favorable calls, is it from the crowd influence? Maybe it could be I guess. All teams generally shoot it better at home, but honestly even Vegas thinks some of these games are going this way even when teams are ranked way ahead of others. They nailed the spread for UK and Arkansas this past week. Some of these referee's love being in the spot light at the end and it drives me crazy. Their ego's are way to big for the moment. An example I thought Brooks was being held awful on the push off foul, if you do not call the hold, do not call the push off, it had no outcome either way, now could of UK guarded better, rebounded, sure, but that call was Doug "SHOW" me on TV wanting to make a big call, in my opinion.

If you have watched recently, not hard to understand why they are undefeated either. I hate LSU and they got hosed last night at Arkansas. They had over 20 offensive rebounds against the Hogs, still lost. Referee's are not very kind to the visiting team. Two of those will not make the sweet 16 and I do not think that it will be the Cats. I am not sold on any of the other 3. NCAA is neutral sites, and Doug Shows can not be at every gym ?

As we know him " The Wizard of Warsaw". is one of the best to stand on the sideline!! Got the most out of his players for sure!! 8th will miss Coach Jones!!

I said it last week, the addition of Cabrera did not sit good with this team. Made some veterans mad, and the youngsters. He is 0-19, and still getting to play. We were 12 games over when they acquired him. We did not do anything to improve our team, at the deadline other than get some bullpen help. Honestly does not matter anyway as you get Mad Man Max first game who is like 6-0 with a .89 era since joining the Dodgers. It would be a huge upset to stop them from repeating. But lets be honest, they knew what they needed and went out and got it. Two of the best players in baseball to join their team, and when they win the whole thing it will be worth it. If Bell is back managing this team it will be a disaster next year. Probably cost us Castellanos as well.

Lopez is around 315 and Barrero is over 300 as well, we have honestly lost to triple A pitchers for the last two weeks, one of the reasons why I say they belong. I would have not went out and got a guy that is done and started him first day here. Sends a terrible message to your team.

Lopez is a over 300 average the last two seasons in triple A, did not think he played bad when he was here, I do think he belongs, I like him a ton, he may not hit a lot of HR but he gets on base. Barrero could very well be the best SS in Triple A this year, I think he would produce more than Mosse and Suarez, moving Farmer to third would kind of make more sense. You have to give those guys a chance this time of year, we have played Aquino, Shogo, Suarez, a whole season and we see what they are. Bullpen guys that we acquired I do like, our starting pitching has been solid, not great, but definitely good enough.

Honestly think when we made some acquisitions here recently, and ran out some of these lineups it really made these players upset. I do not blame them at all. We are 12 games over at the time, and playing well. Professional players no a BUM when they see one, anyone knows that Greene, Lopez and Berrero should be here. They know when a manager is clueless. Frustration has set in and they are not going to get in, falls on a lot of different folks shoulders. Bell and the front office have hurt this team. Players as well, Moose, Senzel hurt, Shogo, Suarez, all not very good. WInker getting hurt has made a gigantic hole in the lineup. How bad does you manager have to be to not know how to get Ian Happ out for the Cubs or where to pitch him. He is like 17-40 against the Reds this season with 8 of his 20 HR. He is batting 220 for the season, and if it was not for the Reds he would be batting under 200. You think that is pitchers missing or not scouting? What about starting a guy at first base that is terrible, old and done, him making an error in the first inning and it costing us the game? Bell is awful, makes terrible decisions in game, terrible line ups, and if I was a player like Castellanos I would not sign with this team, if Bell returns. I am tired of people saying he has done a good job, if you think so you do not know baseball!

Honestly thought the ump from Sunday that we had, cheated the Reds, I do not have a belief that they can be that bad. He literally was as bad as a little league guy, and it made their pitcher who is normally bad look great. Was interesting that Vegas had the Marlins as favorites the last two games of the series. That guy should not be allowed behind the plate again. Our players and coaches were visible upset, Suarez and manager tossed. Reds let him have it after the game as he was walking off and they should have. He stuck us

Look for it to be Coach Yager. His dad was the head coach there, he played there, and will work hard to rebuild their program.

Goldie was a special lady and was a lady that all of us had the privilege of talking hoops or about life in general. She was gracious and loved my family and I am eternally grateful for that. She will be missed dearly. Let’s win #9 for Goldie this season Cats!!!

MJ, I was in Washington, Philly, and Baltimore this past week, and vendors were up and down the isle's, I can not believe they are not letting you guys. However those parks were so busy that I would definitely stop and get one from you rather than wait in line. Hope you are rocking them this weekend with the Birds in town!!

You would be correct, one final four, no title game when they made it to the state tournament. Coach Miller had them close last year as I think they lost in OT.

Kids just are not good enough to play with shot clock, it would make a terrible product in high school. AAU tourney's are using it at the higher level games and it is fine, but for high school in this state it would be terrible.

Unless Hagan Harrison was enrolled by May 1st he will be ruled ineligible, as he is wanting a extra year of playing, aka reclassifying.

Do not forget that it is going to based on superintendents of each district and I am willing to guess most of them 75% say "no". Reason being funding, and you have to allow every kid in your district the right to repeat if they choose too.

I think the second bullet under the listing is what is in question. If games are cancelled it counts as a win and a loss for those teams.

Other regions and districts are using the if you place twice scenario, it counts, I have been told that as well by other coaches. I think the first one counts only if you can not play the second one for example. I would think you are right that the second one is not being scheduled however if it is and you play it I am assuming it counts. You would be essentially punishing teams that have had a run in with Covid, and having players out.

Shelby, Eminence, Henry, and Collins are 15 minutes apart, so that would be the district. Who knows what runs through the KHSAA's brain. This would make the most sense however if you guess right, you should play the lottery.

That is correct, AA is not happening this year.

The state was supposed to be on shut down, dead period for three weeks, no one was to practice until December 14th, yet they were teams practicing the whole time, with no punishment whatsoever. The whole thing is unfair to players and coaches. The coaches that do things right were excited to get back going today, and after practice frustrated that our players are out of shape and basically starting over. I feel terrible for players and coaches. Players are more susceptible to getting hurt as well. I know what our football guys have been through now, hats off to all of the fall sport coaches. Feel bad for the Louisville players and coaches.

I have also heard that as well. Practices start in January. Season in Feb-April. State tourney first week of May. Thursday will be watched closely by the whole Bluegrass.

Have heard that it may be backing up to Jan 11th/18th, and adding a couple weeks on at the end, which would allow for 27 games total. Right now it is at 24. Hearing that the state tourney would be the first week of April. The aggravating thing to all of us are the other states surrounding us that are playing and we are not. Dec 14th to start back for practice is still the date everyone can continue. I know several coaches that have said they can not play a red county, so they will not be playing anyone, and I don't know how they are going to have district games for seeding if this is true. Season is in jeopardy the way our governor is ruling right now. Other states are playing and moving forward and we set idle just like we do in everything. I hope we make a decision and go with it, these kids do not deserve to be brought back Dec 14th, practice for 5 weeks to be told that the season is over in January. The damage we are doing to these kids is what worry's me.
