August 8, 20215 yr I believe this deserves its own thread. Sad but not unexpected news. Goldie fought a courageous battle with ALS. In some ways this reminds me of Birdsfan. I’ve never met two more dedicated fans of “their team”.

August 8, 20215 yr So sorry to see this dreaded but anticipated news. Goldie is one of the true friends that I developed through BGP. I will always cherish my friendship and experiences had with her. I'll be sure to hoist an Ale 8 toast to her memory. Sad
August 9, 20215 yr Extremely sorry to see this news, inevitable though it seemed. Goldie was part of the bedrock of BGP, and her presence has been missed and will continue to be missed.
August 9, 20215 yr I’m so saddened to hear this news. Goldie was a dear friend that I will always remember. I was always happy to see and talk with her at Rupp Arena during the state tournaments. She will be greatly missed.

August 9, 20215 yr I loved Goldy. Being a Royal we always had different of opinions. Always respectful and always friends. No more true fan of her team than Goldie. RIP and you will be misdeed by this Royal.

August 10, 20215 yr Goldie was a special lady and was a lady that all of us had the privilege of talking hoops or about life in general. She was gracious and loved my family and I am eternally grateful for that. She will be missed dearly. Let’s win #9 for Goldie this season Cats!!!
August 11, 20215 yr Didn't really have much interaction with Goldie but appreciated her entertaining and insightful posts. Most heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends, RIP Goldie.
