Final from KHSAA Scoreboard

Good win for the Birds. Sorry I missed it....Prior commitment with my daughter. Stats? Who played well?

It was a nice win at home.

Luke Turner went off scoring 27 but his hustle on both ends and excellent Free Throw shooting really stood out.

Scott must have had 28 fouls on the Night.

Birds trailed after 3rd 36-28 and outscored the Eagles 18-2 in the final period.

2nd straight solid defensive effort by the Birds.

A couple of questionable calls at the end. Definitely heard Mr.Pop screaming from across the gym. Actually the referee (Perry Wing) heard him say that then called a technical on the bench. I heard another fan say that his come over was stuck in his eye sight. But bad officiating is what you expect playing in the ninth region. Congrats to the Bluebirds. Huge W.

Nice win, Highlands!

Congrats to the Birds, interested in reading some reports from the game.

Called a tech on the bench?

Officiating was suspect all Night. Witte had a big steal at the end and as he was going up to score he was pushed from behind and they called a travel. I almost got tossed after that one as i forgot where I was sitting (front row) and stood up pointing my finger at the ref. Lets just say I hurried back to my seat.

Jackson's 4th foul was all ball, they missed that one as well.

In the end the calls were bad both ways and Highlands drilled their FT's while Scott shot them poorly.

Called a tech on the bench?

Yes specific player. #20 I know the kid personally. He is really shy!

He jumped out Into the floor like the rest of the bench as they all could have gotten the T. Shields saw what he saw and immediately blew it so there hd to be something there. It was an emotional moment in the game, huge call that favoresd Highlands.

The tech was called on #21. He stood up and yelled at the official. Tech was not called by Wing. It was called by Shields who was the official near the paint as Wing went to signal the foul at the scorer's table.

Oh alright. Didn't have the angle. Thanks for clarification. Honestly do you think the original charge call was the right call?
