The tech was called on #21. He stood up and yelled at the official. Tech was not called by Wing. It was called by Shields who was the official near the paint as Wing went to signal the foul at the scorer's table.

I was behind bench he said 20 but it should have been on 21.

Oh alright. Didn't have the angle. Thanks for clarification. Honestly do you think the original charge call was the right call?

Yes that was a good call IMO. Ballsy call but I saw some other ones that went against Highlands that required big sac also.

I was actually impressed with how Carr handled that as well as himself tonight on the sideline. Hes a very good coach, works the refs pretty good, calls good sets and thought he shouldve gotten Jackson the ball more early rather than late in the game. He seemed to force Alot of shots in the 4th.

Qryche must be stoked.

So stoked he almost missed the last half of the fourth qtr.

It was priceless. Bailey gets a nice steal at mid-court, takes to to the goal, stops and a two hand nudge in the center of his back causes him fall into the baseline. The call was a travel. Q jumps up from his front row seat, and his movement was toward the ref (at least 30 feet away). The other 2 refs were watching his every move. Q quickly got back in his seat. I thought Q was going to make the walk of shame. He regrouped and was able to watch the Birds get the win.

Darn good thing that Hacksaw was not doing the game tonight or he would have claimed another victim. Glad to hear the Birds came out victorious. A win Friday would give them 3 in a row to end the season and maybe the Breds will be caught looking ahead. Stranger things have happened. Just remember last years game at BOK between the Ladybirds and Notre Dame.

Missed the first qtr, but did see all of the final three quarters.

I did not see Scott make a single outside shot. In the last 24 minutes of the game I would guess they were 0 for 20 from the outside. A lot of those were 3 point attempts that missed badly. I'm sure Imy memory is failing me and they may have made a couple, but you get the point - miserable shooting night. I guess scoring only 38 total points helps to drive that point home.

HHS with 2 wins in a row and Beechwood coming to town for senior night this Friday.

It should probably also be mentioned that the Birds played an excellent game vs Holy Cross but Couldnt finish in that one last Tues night so they have actually played fairly well in their last 3 games. Sr Night should be fun. Its been Alot of fun watching these boys play the last 12 yrs.

Best of luck to the Scott Srs as well on Fri Night and in their District matchup vs the Camels. They have a nice class and I have watched their boys play for many years in AAU Clary, Jehn, Felts, Jackson, Pouncy. All appear to be good kids WHO love the game.

It just goes to show why you don't leave early LOL! It sure sounds like I missed the best part and action of the game! Congrats on the W

Great win for Highlands!

Is that what was going on at HHS last night. I saw smoke signals coming from the rooftop of the school when I passed by. I guess they belonged to the "Q"....You better get that stuff out of the way before FTJFL starts. I would hate to send Moose & Rocco into the stands to mediate next year...LOL! Great win Birds!!! Would of hated to see Brad Carr's I-phone stress test meter after that one....Good golly!

Good win by Highlands.

Horribly officiated game. Doesnt surprise me at all when you have Wing and Shields. 40 something fouls called in the game. Crazy!

No worries....I only get jacked up over hoops TBird.

Carr was quite the opposite of how you normally see him to be honest. Now who knows what happens behind closed doors. :)
