DoggyDawg has passed away...

Sadly, I found out yesterday that BGP member doggydawg (Jason McVay) passed away.

Jason was a Holmes grad and as big a fan of the Bulldogs you will find. He helped out with both the football and basketball Bulldogs. Many times he could be found posting in the basketball and football forums, showing his support of the Dogs.

Do not have many details at this moment, but he had been battling some health issues before passing at the age of 31 (not positive on age, but was told that he was 31).

Keep Jason and his family in your prayers.

Very sad news. I met him a few times hanging out with Sandman32 before Dixie games and saw him quite a bit when I covered Holmes. Great guy. RIP...

Sorry to hear that. I have spoke to him several times in the past at games. We have common friends and relatives where he worked. Very nice man.

Same here. I had the honor to get to know him a little. Although he had a lot of love for Holmes, he also had a lot of love for the Dixie program. He will be missed by many. :cry:
