jvdfc
Did he have an actual change of address? If not, wouldn't he have to sit out a year? Also, why would he do this?
ThinThirty
He is moving in with his father, he lives in the county district. And is probably wanting a better chance at a scholarship.
HIGHLANDS GUY
He is moving in with his father, he lives in the county district. And is probably wanting a better chance at a scholarship. If neither parent actually moved and he just switched which parent he was living with then I don't think he will gain eligibility. Not that I agree with it, but these situations have come up in the past.
ThinThirty
I have no idea about the rules, but I would assume they have worked something out before making such an important change.:idunno:
doubledeuce
There are ways around it. Just get a lawyer and make a few claims and bingo, eligible! See Boone County girls basketball, she did not change addresses.

PulpFiction
I do not believe this increases your chance of a scholarship. If you can play they will find you no matter where you play h.s.

Benz_Trophies
My point is I agree with you. If you are good enough, recruiters will find you where ever you play. I do believe it's safe to say that the more exposure one gets it has to increase his chances. Recruiters learn lots from players when they play in huge High school games like the Boyle/ Lex. Cath or the Boyle/Bell or the Boyle/ Lone Oak game. The number of scholarshps offered or excepted has nothing to do with exposure.
PurplePride92
I'd think there will be recruiters coming to watch Lamar Dawson every Friday but IMO, I don't think the reasoning behind his transfer has anything to do with a college scholarship like I initially believed.
