That is nice to see, both as a sports fan and (selfishly haha) from an announcing perspective. That is such a huge help to have in preparation to call a game. Having called games in several states across the east coast, I can tell you that there is nothing like it. It's a great asset to all the sports enthusiasts and from the announcing side it's also a tremendous help.

I thought they must be doing some sort of maintainence to the scoreboard.  When you click on the arrows to the right of a contest score, it normally shows the series between the two teams.   When you click on it now, it just gives you an error.

From the Scoreboard homepage:

Monday, June 17

Today, I'm releasing the newest version of the Scoreboard in a beta release. This means:

 - Some things that worked may get broken temporarily.

 - Some features may be missing for a while.

 - There are some rough edges in the presentation and user interface that will take time to resolve.

 - You may see error messages from time to time that will help me find problems.

 - I'm aware that the "team pair" history is broken and have it on the front burner.

 - The Scoreboard will be slower for now. Usually, I run six servers behind a load balancer. For the moment everything is running on only one server.

You may have heard that the KHSAA is migrating its software and data platform to a third-party system starting in the 24-25 school year. That means the Scoreboard needs to work seamlessly with the data from both the old and new systems. This is not a trivial task for the Scoreboard.

I decided to release beta versions as we make progress instead of waiting until everything is done weeks from now. Coaches and ADs are using the new third-party system to enter schedules and rosters. I want to display those schedules right away.

Thanks for your patience and support.

I noticed most teams have the upper class men already listed on the roster is this actually entered by the coach or is this being carried over from last year’s rosters.

I noticed that boys and girls basketball as well as baseball and softball don't have every team listed.

I also liked it better when you could click on an in-season tournament and see who all is participating in that tournament.

Ever since Covid teams rarely update their rosters on hudl or maxpreps.

I totally get it that having having full roster info available on multiple platforms is really nice. But as someone who has input and updated rosters, myself, it's a time consuming pain in the keister. I can't blame anyone for only having the bandwidth to keep their roster updated in one place. And if the KHSAA is requiring teams to input their roster to their Scoreboard, I completely understand why that would be the only place it's being kept up to date.

I assume they will update this update with the individual games rushing and passing yardage numbers for teams for the whole game.  Correct?

Those has usually been on there but there isn't even space for them right now.

That is very useful information that has been collected over a long period of time.

Am I assuming correctly that they will update that stat line?  Anyone know?
