St X is legit, a very good team!! They were very impressive tonight!!

Scott Co had great team. Played two GCL teams and STX close. Turnovers were killer. Props to STX D for getting the turnovers. Props to Morretti having great game coming off injury. Albers had good game also. Scott Co Running backs ran hard and were good.

Awfully proud of the cards for fighting back after being down 27-7 at half. Scored to make it 35-41 before X broke off the long run one play TD drive to go back ahead two scores. SC really struggled defensively. Congrats to St. X good luck against T.

From what I've heard SC tried to throw the ball a whole lot more then they usually do in the first half and that led to turnovers. If that's true one has to wonder why the change of game plan.

First; one has to know what a “whole lot more” means. Scott County has a very efficient and potent passing attack despite not slinging it around the yard 40-60% of their snaps like most would think it takes to have an effective passing game.

Not more than usual, just a couple badly timed shot plays that they must of thought were gonna be open and we’re blanketed and thrown anyways. One was a tipped ball by a DE picked by another DL. Turnovers killed SC, could have went to halftime 14-7 but instead had to try and climb back from 27-7 in 2nd half. Have to give props to X for capitalizing on all of the turnovers, that is what great teams do.

St X played well to get the w. Scott put up a fight and those turnovers killed them. X has improved a lot since I watched them play Trinity earlier.

In a few years when the new school opens in Scott County and SC is no longer 6A Coach McKee won’t have to worry about the Louisville private schools.

Boo hoo. Sounds like it might be time for a new coach. The head coach at the largest high school in the state has that bad a record against good competition? :sssh:
