Anybody stay in the same job your entire working career?

Not counting jobs as a kid.....how many of you stayed in the same job your entire working career? I'm currently in year #34 with no changes at all.

32 years at Great American Insurance. I did have a year at a different place right out of college and then moved to GAI.

It will be close for me. Spent 4 years in the Army out of high school, then 5years in college, worked several different jobs while in college, not sure if those count or not. Went to work in current job and been here 20 years, have about another 9 to go.

Spent just under 6 years at my first job out of college. Been in my current one for about 8 months.

I've done the same work, but at many different places since college. Have been at the current place going on 8 years, which is a record for me.

Same gig, different spot. May not be done either. Headed to the gulf coast eventually if the bride agrees.

Had my own lawncare and landscaping gig from 1980-1994, been at FedEx since 1994.

Been at the same job for 5 years since I graduated from college.

Worked part time at Wal-Mart after high school while trying to go to college. Quit both after a year...well quit Wal-Mart, the school told me not to come back that maybe I wasn't quite ready :idunno:. A GPA of 0.0 after 2 semesters didn't help. Got a job at a furniture store and was there for 3 years while I partied and goofed off. Finally got my head on straight and got a job where I work now in the warehouse. Moved up over the years and now an Account Manager for 3 of our biggest customers. Over 18 years with this company.

Been at my current job 19 years. Had a handful of other jobs prior.

Side note, everyone of the other companies I did work for are out of business.

I've been on my current job for 23 years. Goes to 24 in July.
