MysteriousOnes
It all depends on the pass rush Amen. I don't care how good your secondary is if the QB has all day to make a decision.
RAMS68_1
I think the DEF will be good if the offense can move the ball up and down the field. And not put them in bad pos. all the time. Any good def. comes with the help of the off. controling the time of pos.
AverageJoesGym
Roy Williams can lead all he wants, but he's not very good at actually playing . :thumb:

extackler
What little bit I saw, I did like the way the D played today. The LB Corps are headhunters.
Blue Magic
What little bit I saw, I did like the way the D played today. The LB Corps are headhunters. Until the last play, regardless of how bad Broncos offense is, they played very well.
stick1
They might have the best young 1-2 punch of young LBers in the game. They are very deep at Safety. I think they are inside the top 15 but are a legit pass rusher away from cracking the top 10. They are on the rise for sure.
malachicrunch
They will have to create turnovers, and actually score off those turnovers. They do seem to have an increased physicallity about them.

I was very impressed with how physical they played yesterday. That's what it will take to compete in the AFC North. They're not quite there yet, IMO, but they're getting close. If somebody can step up on the D-line, or if they can acquire somebody, then look out.

Hearsay
Maualuga still needs a little work closing on receivers out of the backfield, but he is going to be a star. Joseph is a very good DB. Rivers I think is a star right now.

mexitucky
Are some more people starting to become believers in this defense yet? They still stink at covering TEs. Pittsburgh abandoned the run too early yesterday, and that helped the Bengals b/c Big Ben wasn't going to continue to complete 70% of his passes like he did yesterday. They allowed Pitt to convert over 50% of their 3rd downs. You won't consistently beat teams if you can't get off of the field.

You do realize that this Pittsburgh offense beat that great Baltimore's defense 3 times last year. They moved the ball on that defense as well. Even great defenses don't shut down teams all the time, especially other good teams.
