October 26, 200916 yr By the way the most important stat for a defense is the amount of points a game they give up, and right now the Bengals are 14th in the NFL in that category and that is not including this week. They were giving up 19.7 points per game going into this week, which is one full point away from being 9th in the NFL. They have done this while going against the #2,4,5, and 6 ranked offenses in the NFL this year in 4 of the games.
