UKPat02
Kobe. There isn't anything he can't do. Heart of a champion.
bugatti
Kobe Bryant. Best perimeter player in the game. Can get to the rim. Multiple time 1st Team All-Defense. Very competitive and clutch.
Hangman
Kobe... At the end of the game, I wouldn't want the ball in anyone else's hands...
spe690
Hate him or love him, Kobe Bryant, followed by Lebron.

And yes, I realize that Kobe is a SG and Paul is a PG.
spindoc
I hate to say it, but Kobe. However, if I were to start a team today, I'd give that Howard kid from Orlando a hard look as my cornerstone.
bigblueinsanity
I'll keep the Kobe thread alive, hes the best. D Howard is also very good.

The Breeze
Kobe is basically unstopable, he also has his team winning this year, so I would have to give the edge to him over LeBron, who isnt preforming to potential and his team isnt winning this year
JBCousins
Kobe. He's like Tiger Woods in the fact that he takes/makes shots that no one else can or will try. Chris Paul is an MVP candidate, a great player, and best "point guard" in the league but he's not Kobe.

bellalumni40
LeBron for me. LeBron is only getting better every day, I'm not so sure that is the case with Kobe. LeBron makes the players around him better, and there is not that much around him to be honest. Big Z used to be able to play, and Hughes had one good year, but the rest are marginal and inconsistent performers. If Kobe sat out 5 games, the Lakers could probably go 2-3 or better. The Cavs went 0-5 and it was just bad when LeBron was out. LeBron is becoming a very good defender and is getting that killer instinct, which was really the only thing Kobe had on him. I have to go with LeBron on this one. If I was starting a team today, it would have to be with LeBron or Dwight Howard.

I know it sounds crazy to say a guy is better than Michael Jordan, but I think he is. There is nothing that can be done on the court that Kobe can't do.
