Very nice hire for Garrard Co. Brad will make them a fine coach. Does Garrard have a new high school about ready to open or maybe it is already, went by the area about a year ago saw work in progress.

Hicks was very successful (not Scott Co. successful, but successful) at Harlan which is 1A and Corbin 2A so no "probably", involved high rate maybe.

I would agree with you this score sounds about right.

Seems like they were decent when he was there.

IMO a great choice for this award, unlike the early two favorites Wilson plays with a lot of heart and a passion for the game at all times. He plays every minute like it may be the last time he is on a basketball floor, others just seem to go through the motions at times. Johnson though plays really hard as well,but can be hot or cold, with the two best players in the region Corbin should have rolled and they did taking care of business.

Man! Don't know what those officals were looking at that wasn't even close. After they leave the gym nothing can be done about it I think thats the rule, not sure?:ohbrother:

Ok if you say so:isurrender:, Maybe the rest of South's players picked it up when St. John was out, to me it was much improvement from KC over the last couple of weeks to even be in this game.

Been wrong many times but it looked to me like he was just standing there, not in a good block out position at all, the big boy was behind him but not over him, your eyes may be better than you think.

From were I was I agree it should have been a putback, not an over the back foul, the kid from KC was about a foot taller and the player from South didn't attempt a block out. One of the non-breaks I was talking about, should have been no call there, but this one play didn't cost KC the game.

A real good game, I thought KC was going to pull it out. The free throw line killed them. It was a (bad bad bad)foul Milller went out on, just grabbed the South's players arm almost a full court away from South's basket, hard to figure. To me KC looked to be well coached and they sure didn't catch any type breaks on a couple of calls late in the game, but if they hit their ft those calls don't hurt them. KC has the potential to be pretty good next year. South and North in this setting should be fun on Sat.

Maybe you were but most of your posts seem to be put- downs to me about the Arena, Corbin, and 70's shows as well, no wonder you got those guys fired-up. Most are enjoying the tournament hope you can as well.:popcorn:

I agree Clay and Corbin should be intense and a great game, Sat. may be the largest crowd to watch a basketball game ever in the 13th region history. If North and South both make it as well wow!

Wilson for Corbin was more than outstanding, he came back after that soild lick of a pick and didn't miss a beat. If Robbins (I think thats his name) could have played all year Bell would have a much better record, he owned the Hounds inside, it killed them when he fouled out, Number 15 is a real player as well for Bell . Both teams had their chances to win. Hard game for this tourney to top. Thought the Arena was a very good place for this to go down. Good atmosphere, great game.

Knox has played much better lately and could make this a good game. I see South winning though 65 to 57.

Corbin will play on Saturday against the winner of Clay Co. & Barbourville.

Corbin pulls out a close one that took 4 OT's. Wilson for Corbin must have had at least 40+ points in the game. Bell came ready to play tonight but could not pull off the upset.

Good to see West pull out the win. I was not expecting this game to be this close.

A crazy game! Listening to it on the radio, looks like Corbin is going to pull it out.
